Publisher Nancon just unveiled a new extended trailer for the upcoming Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood, giving us all a glimpse of the game’s exploration, stealth, and combat systems.
Unleashed upon the general public last night, the new gameplay trailer for Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthbloodtakes us on a tour of the upcoming RPG from developer Cyanide. Narrated by Julien “Patch” Desourteaux, Game Director at Cyanide, the six minutes of frenzied action tour the development process of Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood, delving into its roots in the larger World of Darkness universe and showing off many of the ways you can get around the in-game world.
Playing as Cahal, a werewolf, you’ll be fighting an evil corporation bent on pillaging the Earth for its resources. The glimpse of gameplay gives us a glimpse of Cahal’s ability to traverse the game as a fully formed werewolf, a human, or as a wolf. Each of these stances seems to provide their own options for chewing through or sneaking past any obstacles that get in your way, with a range of visceral combat options should you need them.
After initially announcing Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood back in 2019, Cyanide and Nancon set to work bringing this tabletop classic to life on the computer screen. Set in the larger World of Darkness Universe, which you might know better from the Vampire: The Masquerade series, this furry endeavour finds players plunged into a world where they are a Garou, a warrior of Gaia. These defenders of the Earth will find themselves facing off against Endron, a global corporation busy devastating the natural world, when Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood hits PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Epic Game Store) on 4 February 2021. Until then, check out the new Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood trailer above and head over to the official website for information.
