Epic Games is blowing the lid off the holiday season in Fortnite with the arrival of the annual Winterfest themed event. From now through January 2nd, players will be able to take part in all sorts of frosty fun and bring home some pretty sweet presents. In fact, each and every day of the event, players will receive a free gift from the developers. Players can look forward to pickaxes, gliders, outfits, and much more.
While checking in each day to see what Santa has brought is a good idea, it’s not always feasible, especially during the busy holiday season. However, Epic has made it easy. If you miss a day here or there, you can still claim the gifts as long as it is done prior to January 7th.
During Winterfest, players can take part in daily challenges that reward XP for participation and completion. Players will be sent off to complete limited time modes such as Zone Wars and can hunt for vaulted weapons to return.
