Drecom Co. and Studio 2Pro have released a brand new trailer for its upcoming mobile title Wizardry VA. The mobile game is the next in a series of Wizardry games stretching back into gaming’s antiquity. While there is no specific release, developers offered a very general “2022” window.
The one-minute game trailer offers viewers a brief peek into what the mobile ARPG will entail as well as a smattering of first-person gameplay. Players will travel through a number of environments including a variety of dungeons, urban locations, outdoor regions such as a snowscape, and many others. Some of the enemies encountered include goblins and skeletons.
The series has been around in one form or another since 1981 and reached its apex of popularity with 2001’s Wizardry 8. The Japanese series has been even more robust with multiple games developed and released over the past 30 years.
Unfortunately, the only information we have about the game is what has been seen in this and one earlier trailer. Hopefully, over the coming months, developers will be sending out more about features and a more precise release date.
