Sandbox Interactive has announced that it will soon be expanding its service for the open-world MMO Albion Online. Developers have revealed that the “Albion East” server that is being prepared for a February 20th launch. The server is dedicated to players in the Asia-Pacific region and offers them a number of benefits including faster connection speeds and more.
Asia-Pacific region players will find a boatload of reasons to connect to the East server.
- A new and untouched version of the game, where all players start as equals and can claim their own piece of Albion;
- A game world that is fully separate and independent from the existing “Albion West” server;
- Greatly improved connection speeds and ping for the whole Asia-Pacific region;
- Timings of game and server events (territory battles, Crystal League, Faction Warfare, maintenance, etc.) that are optimized for the region;
- Founders can participate in the closed beta and Beta Guild Season before server launch, with accelerated Fame progression, and gain early access to the full server launch, as well as reserving existing character and guild names.
Those who are interested in a head start can purchase a Founders Pack. Not only will this grant a few days’ early access to the new East server, but it will also grant players closed beta and Guild Season beta access.
