Asterigos: Curse of the Stars Set for Launch

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars

Acme Gamestudio and tinyBuild have announced that Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is ready for launch on October 11th. Players will be able to dive into the action-RPG on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. To celebrate the big announcement, the developers have sent out a terrific new launch trailer. In addition, a free demo is available to play thanks to Steam Next Fest. Players are offered a peek into the game world inspired by Greek and Roman mythology.

Players step into the sandals of Hilda, a young warrior from the forsaken city of Aphes. She’s on a quest to discover its secrets and discover the truth behind the curse that has destroyed the city and turned its inhabitants into monsters. Hilda utilizes martial and mystical arts to fight her way through epic battles. She can use various weapons, including sword and shield, dual blades, spears, and hammers. Let’s not forget spellcasting gear like magical staves and enchanted armlets. She’ll need every tool in her kit to take on the legions of monsters that walk the city streets. With over twenty “twisted and massive boss creatures,” even the most experienced players will need to pause to consider battle strategies.

It’s not all horrors and battle. Aphes is a place of strange beauty. Ancient and proud architecture lies nestled in scenic valleys. Sprawling plazas lie wrapped in a spiderweb of streets, and beneath the city lies a warren of tunnels, dungeons and crystal-lined caverns. Treasure and mystery await those willing to explore it.
