Crash Bandicoot, the silly marsupial is coming to mobile devices and now we know when he’s set to get On The Run!.
Announced by King all the way back in mid 2020, Crash Bandicoot: On The Run! has been trudging along for some time now. Despite pre registrations and some detail on the upcoming Crash adventure, we still didn’t have a release window. Now, King, the same studio behind the massively popular Candy Crush series, has confirmed that Crash’s latest title will hit iOS and Android devices in Spring 2021. While this isn’t exactly a dedicated release day, it does give us all an idea of how far down the development lane Crash has made it, and when to expect chaos on your phone screen.
More Of The Same
Crash Bandicoot: On The Run is expected to be an endless runner style game with a bunch of other enhancements. It makes something of a departure from Crash’s previous Nitro kart mobile outings but still looks set to feature a bunch of well known Crash characters, including CoCo and Neo-Cortex for good measure. Despite this being an endless runner, you can expect to take on Neo Cortex while avoiding traps and even dabbling in a bit of crafting.
We don’t have a ton more detail about Crash Bandicoot: On The Run but I’m sure that as we get closer to all Crash’s antics in Early 2021, we’ll find out more. For now, there’s a trailer atop you can check out and pre registrations are open. Pre registrations for this title will get you an exclusive skin, which might not be quite as enticing as A3:Still Alive’s iPad if you’re after something shiny. If you’re interested in Crash Bandicoot on the go, head over to the official website or jump over to the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to get registration in early.
