Eastshade, the glorious easel and exploration game from Eastshade Studios, is now out on Consoles. Grab your brush and paint away the blues, reds, and green.
Available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players Eastshade isn’t exactly the type of game you might expect to find on console. This indie explorer deposits players on the island of Eastshade and encourages players to explore the amazing scenery. In this open world adventure, players can explore every corner of the surrounding island, talk to the inhabitants, learn their stories, make new acquaintances via a range of fully voiced narrative interactions. Of course, you’ll also be able to capture the beauty of the surrounding environment on canvas.
A Different Adventure
Rather than unleash bullet-hell on some unexplained alien presence, a picturesque painting is the key in this travel simulator. Players can get their oils out and frame the world around them, but that isn’t all. Apart from being utterly gorgeous Eastshade also holds many secrets. Using your easel, you’ll be able to unlock some of the island’s mysteries and that digging may even ave consequences.
After launching on PC on Feb 2019, Eastshade had an overwhelmingly positive reception. It’s mix of first-person puzzler, great graphics, and serene atmosphere was generally lauded. Now US console players can take a break on Eastshade. EU Xbox owners can also jump on the boat out to Eastshade now. However, EU PlayStation players will have to wait. Your departure has been unexpectedly delayed. We don’t know exactly when Eastshade is coming to the EU PlayStation store but it should be worth the wait. Eastshade is available digitally on the aforementioned Xbox and PlayStation Stores for $24.99 / €24.99 / £20.99. You can check out the scenery in the new accolades trailer or head over to the official website for more details.
