Smilegate, CD Projekt Red, and Amazon Games have announced a new crossover event. Taking place in Amazon’s MMO Lost Ark, the event will see several characters from CDPR‘s The Witcher series make their debut in the game. North American, European, South American, and Australian players can look forward to meeting up with Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Dandelion, and Ciri in January of 2023. Korean players are already in the midst of the in-game event.
During the limited-time event, players will meet up with The Witcher characters voiced by their original actors. Players will explore a new story set on a new island called White Wolf’s Haven. It is a “setting for merriment and festivals until a mysterious vortex suddenly appears.” As one would expect, this dampens the party mood. Players will investigate the source of the vortex and will meet Geralt, who sets off a chain of events. The goal is to “solve a puzzle that spans time and space.”
Players participating in the crossover event will have the opportunity to unlock special Witcher-themed items. In addition, special Witcher-themed cosmetics will be available in the store, and new character customization scars, Cards, Stronghold structures, emojis, and more will be available.
