Relive adventure today as Runescape’s 20th anniversary celebrations continue with the launch Once Upon A Time: Flashback.
With a rich legacy and a deep lore behind it, players in Gielinor have plenty to reminisce over as Runescape passes by the 20 year mark. Now adventurers can return to some classic quests as they fight to save the future of this massively successful MMORPG as the 20th anniversary narrative continues. Once Upon A Time: Flashback continues the current storyline in Runescape, where Relomia has started to rewrite old quests and alter past events. With the help of a mysterious ghost, named Closure, players in the modern Gielinor must travel back in time to fix three old Runescape quests and save the characters that make up this world’s deep lore.
A Glimpse Into The Past
Anybody who manages to escape the eye of Death, fix the future, and save the past will come out of Once Upon A Time: Flashback with both a Medium XP lamp and Closure’s Book. This isn’t the only loot on offer for Runescape’s 20th Anniversary, and developer Jagex took the opportunity to confirm that RuneScape: The First 20 Years — An Illustrated History will be coming in Autumn 2021. As the continuation of the Once Upon A Time series of mini quests that launched just months ago.
