Professional Fishing Two Hooks a New Trailer

MasterCode and Ultimate Games S.A. have announced the release of the first-ever trailer for Professional Fishing 2. Anglers will be pleased to hear that the game will enter PC early access in September 2023. Players can hook a copy on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC when it is released.

Developers are keen to show off gameplay, environments, and features of the sequel to the well-received first game in the series. To do so, they have released a trailer that offers a peek at both first- and third-person perspectives, the elements of survival gameplay, and much more.

Unlike its predecessor, PF2 will be a paid game, offering even more realism than the first game. New features include more extensive fishing grounds, fishing methods, fish species, and a larger multiplayer mode. In addition, players will be challenged by adding survival and hunting elements and vehicles. According to the dev team, this means that there will be an “important role played by moving between fisheries in one’s own vehicle or by public transport.” What that means precisely remains unknown.

When PC early access begins, players can explore a large map based on Central and Eastern Europe. Players can try their angling skills in several bodies of water, including small and large lakes, various rivers, ponds, oxbow lakes, and the sea.

Those who prefer to “try before buying” will be able to do so when a free demo is released in July. Players will be able to familiarize themselves with the map and features. It will not be time-limited, so players can play it as long as they wish.
