Roll Up For The Horrific Carnival Hunt Reveal

Carnival Hunt is coming to town and publisher Crytivo has revealed that it will help bring this undead horror show to life.

Strike up the band, raise the tent, ick a ride and prepare for some gruesome fun as publisher Crytivo and developer Beer Night Studio peel back the curtain on upcoming fun filled scare Carnival Hunt. Taking the form of an asymmetrical horror co-op, this fun filled funeral challenges players to take on the role of the Carnival Monster or wind-up friends by playing as Bunnies desperate to escape a nightmarish and thrilling game of survival of the fittest.

This upcoming title does take a well established gameplay format, with titles like Evolve, Dead by Daylight, Back for Blood, and more using the one against all gameplay system to make for manic multiplayer action. It, however, plunges this escape the game style of play into an interesting twist on a festive night at the fairground. If you want to get out then Bunnies will need to avoid the Monster until it’s charge runs out. Along the way, these Bunnies need to be rewound, as their clockwork mechanics will intermittently run out of stored kinetic energy. The Monster must grab each of the Bunnies’ clockwork keys while utilizing a unique set of skills, from going invisible to teleportation.

Like plenty of titles before it, it seems Carnival hunt will use Kickstarter to gauge the market before getting started, so check out the scarily jovial new trailer above and head over to the Kickstarter page to find out more about Carnival Hunt.
