Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook has a brand new demo, giving us all a taster of this upcoming dungeon cooker.
NIS has announced that Monster Menu, the upcoming mix of adventuring and cook ‘em up, has a deme. Available right n ow, this appetizer for the brightly colored dungeon crawler is open for future master chefs to grab a weapon and go ham. The new demo is free to try on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation now, challenging players to pick a team and head out into the wild to tenderize some monsters and satisfy a basic hunger.
In order to quell a thirst for action, players picking up this demo will need to put together a staff. Whether it’s a sword wielding chef or a jobless porter, you’ll pick four distinct characters, customize them, and evolve their skills as you grind through the challenges that await. While the likes of Diablo prepared you for the slice and dice scenarios that await, Monster Menu is all about serving up something different.
Taking down demons is hungry work, and the biggest threat to any outing is starvation. Combat cooking plays a vital role in this title. Local wildlife, plants, and veg must be picked, packed, and slain to fill out anything from a hotpot to a simple steak. If you’re already full, then these precious materials might even enhance your weapons. With a. range of modes, plenty of character customization, and corpse devouring all combined with a tangy aftertaste, Monster Menu is certainly not your usual rogue lite.
