Coming from publisher 11-bit studios and developer Digital Sun is their latest action RPG, Moonlighter. It’s being released across several platforms including Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows pc/Mac OSX. Set for the price of $19.99 USD across all platforms on its release, it seeks to put players into the role of Will, a shopkeeper by day and an adventurer by night! All while trying to make the village of Rynoka better than what it currently is.
Players can look forward to RPG and rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of our adventurous shopkeeper-turned-hero:
- While in the confines of Rynoka, you can put items on sale, set their prices, manage your gold reserves, upgrade your shop and recruit assistants to help you through. Get to know your neighbors to craft and enchant your armor and weapons and restore the prosperity of your village. Some shady individuals might want to steal your hard-earned riches, so watch out!
- Defeat various enemies and bosses, and revel in challenging and deep combat mechanics. Masterful control of your weapons, critical timing, careful positioning, and an understanding of your enemies and environment are crucial to your survival.
During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.
