The Serpent Rogue Sneaks Onto PC And Console Next Month

The Serpent Rogue, the latest alchemic adventure from team 117, is set to sneak onto PC and console when it launches on 26 April 2022.

Hot off a quick NFT u-turn, Team 17 is getting back to what it does best. Today the UK outfit has announced that they are set to publish an inventive new game title The Serpent Rogue. Coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, this roguelike is set to conjure up some fun on 26 April.

There is, of course, a new trailer available for anybody who wants a quick peek at the gorgeous artwork and action of this title. Players picking up The Serpent Rogue will find themselves in a wonderfully crafted medieval backdrop, where alchemy is still a serious business. As The Warden explores this expansive world, gamers will need to collect and research ingredients to improve the in-game alchemy. Mixing brews and bottling potions should provide plenty of options to anybody brave enough to overcome the obstacles in their way, but actions have consequences. In among the many complex permutations available, the effects of these mixtures could have serious implications. For instance, if too many items are left littered around an area, rodents will arrive en masse to cause havoc; if bodies are left unburied, ghouls will be lured by their scent leaving death and destruction in their wake. So, probably your way out of a fight before poisoning an adversary?

With a sizeable sandbox to play in and tons of possible outcomes, the Serpent Rogue seems like a fun new take on a well-established genre. Get your mixing bottles ready and find out more on the The Serpent Rogue or wishlist it on Steam.
