We Were Here Forever Escapes Onto PlayStation and Xbox

We Were Here Forever

We Were here forever is about to slip out of PC purgatory and escape onto consoles on 31 January 2023.

Fans of co-op puzzlers and ingenious breakout rooms will be able to team up with the innumerable inmates of Castle Rock across new console platforms at the end of January. Developer Total Mayhem Games is brining the latest instalment in the We Were Here series to Xbox and PlayStation, meaning players who wake up inside a dingy prison cell will need to get moving to find out how they got there and escape whatever awaits them.
If you’re up for facing the dark forces of this realm, then expect to explore the corridors and towers of a sinister castle with the help of a comrade in arms. Along the way you’ll both uncover secrets and riddles hidden in shadow, stumble across clues, and solve some spine chilling puzzles too. Much like It Takes Two and Biped, this type of ingenious puzzler requires two sets of hands to unpick the locks between you and freedom, so communication is key. Thankfully you’ll at least start out with a pair of radios to communicate.

We Were Here Forever will also get crossplay when it plants its feet on consoles, meaning nothing will stop you and your friends from getting out alive. Well, except that thing lurking in the shadows. If you haven’t a clue what’s going on then there’s plenty of time to check out any of the previous We Were Here titles. The inaugural chapter in this tale is even free to play on Steam. Head over to the official website to find out more now.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
