Bleach: Immortal Soul Announced For Mobiles

Bleach: Immortal Soul

Oasis Games has just announced Bleach: Immortal Soul, a brand new mobile RPG based on the hit anime franchise.

It’s been sixteen years since Kurosaki Ichigo and friends first aired, bringing Tite Kubo’s Death Gods to the small screen. Now, with legions of fans across the globe and a place in anime history firmly established, these soul reavers are about to hit the small screen once more. Oasis Games has just announced that a brand new Bleach mobile RPG is due to hit Android and iOS devices in spring 2020. Developed by GREE and officially licensed by TV Tokyo, this 2D title puts players in charge of Ichigo and his Zanpakuto, named Zangetsu, as they defend Karakura Town from a variety of threats.

A New Chapter

Like all good RPG, the title has its own narrative arc which unfolds through dozens of animated chapters. Players will recognize major Bleach characters including Toshiro Hitsugaya, Rukia Kuchiki, Yoruichi Shihouin, Kenpachi, and more. As the fight continues and souls are sent to the other side players will be able to collect several fan favorites to strengthen their team. You can expect the usual leveling up, training, and equipment upgrades in this mobile title. Alongside the solo RPG story, denizens of Soul Society will be able to join forces, putting together their teams of Shinigami and humans, fighting side by side to defeat powerful bosses and climb the game’s rankings.

While this might not be as flashy as Jump Force, Bleach: Immortal Soul has already seen an English CBT at the end of 2019 and impressions have been fairly positive from fans. Now, its time for the rest of us to get ready to release our own Bankai. Players eager to pre-register can claim a series of in-game rewards before the game hits by heading over to the official Bleach: Immortal Soul website. If you would rather check back, you’ll find it coming to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store later this year.
