Donkey Crew has announced the release of a large and anticipated update to Last Oasis, its open-world survival MMORPG. Called “LOverhaul,” the update’s primary focus is adding PvE elements into the game. Players will be able to experience new PvE areas specifically designed with new players in mind. However, even veterans will find much to like as they travel the game world with companions for the first time in the game’s history. Other components of the update include an overhauled travel system, new giant boss-type monsters, and much more. Loverhaul is now available for PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The new PvE content also adds more cooperative and strategic elements to battles. Newcomers can build their skills and equipment solo or in a group while defeating increasingly difficult enemies. Get ready for long fights against giant Papak frogs and Gogo boulder monsters the size of a mountain! PvE players can explore and build at their own pace and can later join PvP servers to take on challenges that yield greater resources and loot rewards.
Other features include:
- building a base of operations as a starting point
- gather resources and schematics to improve technology
- build Walker machines. Solo players can use automatons and remote weapons in Walkers to fight will inside
- no need to ally with clans as a solo player
- special PvE maps across a number of difficulty levels
- new giant monsters for extra challenges and rewards
- new siege weapon types
- overhauled travel system
- smarter creatures
- new Rupu types and camps
