The AOC AG344UXM Is A Girthy MiniLED Ultrawide

AOC AG344UXM monitor

AOC just announced yet another addition to the fast expanding selection of AGON gaming monitors. This time gamers get girth with the widescreen AG344UXM display.

The latest monitor in the top spec AGON by AOC gaming range is more than a simple update and mild refinement to an already impressive 32 Inch AG324UX Available in July 2023 for a hefty wedge of cash, the AG344UXM will bring serious firepower to desktops. Cramming in an impressive UWQHD resolution, 1ms GtG times, and 170 Hz refresh rate, this new entry in the AOC lineup certainly has the headline figures for a top tier gaming monitor.

There’s far more going on behind the scenes, however. Delve beyond the fast IPS panel and you’ll encounter a total of 1152 dimming zones and a MiniLED backlight. This powers a peak brightness of 1000 nits and ensures this model comes VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified out of the box. Even further back, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 are included to keep up with future bandwidth requirements of even the most intense games or content creation.

For anybody looking to use some to this extra real estate to do more than gaming, the AG344UXM looks like it will be pretty versatile. Beyond the high resolution and ridiculous contrast ratio, USB-C input connectivity, 90W USB-C power delivery, a 4 port USB A hub, upstream USB connectivity, an integrated KVM switch, and 2 x 8W DTS speakers make this a widescreen upgrade for the Agon by AOC range.

If you’re looking to fill every inch of extra space, check out more on the last monitor you’ll need to find room for over on the AOC website, before it launches for £1429.99
