Steam Next Fest is here for 2024 gun building survival Nimrods has us in its sights.
Steam Next Fest looks utterly outstanding this year. The regular round of free demos and indie darlings has dropped a whole host of outlandish and intriguing new titles for us all to try. In between try, and Nimrods has something for everyone. By something, we mean a different gun, for every potential player. Right now, anybody looking for something a little more run and gun than Vampire Survivors can try out the new demo for Nimrods.
Developed by indie team Fiveamp, this upcoming rouge styled shooter plunges a pixelated player into a fairly familiar horde based romp, but this time there are guns. Oodles and oodles of guns. Hired as a Gun Manufacturer’s testing force, your mission is simple: test the latest gun tech and scavenge alien planets. The delightfully simple concept might seem old school but the number of ways to play will likely make this seem fresh every time. The level of craftwork on display allows for dynamic component collaboration. Rockets with fire or split bullets with fire are easy to assemble. I don’t think you’re going to get attack geese however.
You can check out the trailer for Nimrods or just jump straight in and try out the free demo on the official Steam Store page between now and 12 February.
