The Red Baron Update Dives Into Space Survival Marauders Today

Marauders, the sci-fi survival shooter from team17 gets a deadly new update today as The Red Baron enters the skies.

Keep your eyes up pilots. The cold expanse of outer space is a little less safe today as Team17 deploy The Red Baron update to this hardcore shoot and loot. Already live and shooting off into action today, the newest addition to this shockingly different take on Tarkov is about to find players taking on the game’s first boss: the titular and legendary pilot.

For those that missed the initial Early Access release of Marauders, this dieselpunk inspired space sim takes the traditional survival shooter, wraps it up in a coal fired industrial forge, and thrusts it out into the local asteroid belt. Think what would happen if humanity desperately reached for the stars back in the 1980s and you’ll be about there. Taking a no nonsense approach to close quarters combat, players all up in the giant space wrecks must pilot their way in through space, dock, and loot whatever is available without getting gunned down or blown to bits along the way.

The ne Red Baron is a formidable new addition to both space flight and station navigation. . A dogfighting ace from the game’s Central Empire faction and an expert in both close-quarters battles and space flight combat, the Red Baron is a formidable foe who will test the skills of space pirates from across the galaxy.

More than just a cool aesthetic, the mix of co-operative play and changing map dynamics means that Marauders was an unexpected delight when we donned our scavenged space suit and ggrabbed a handy Glock at WASD.
